The Institute for Earth Education is a volunteer run ecological education organisation which has been going for 25 years, and now operates in 7 different countries. The set up of the Institute can seem a bit odd at times, but the practical reality of the institute, as run by its members, and the quality of the materials they provide are great!

Bestwood Country Park, very helpful rangers, they have a programme of activities including some for children. Enviro-camp is held here each summer, and there are also barbecue and orienteering facilities that can be used by appointment.
